Nityananda Samadhi Mandir, Ganeshpuri

Ganeshpuri is a small village approximately 80 km from Mumbai. It was home to Swami Nityananda, and now has many ashrams, and also the final samadhi of the Guru. There are many hot water springs in the area.

  1. Wow! How special to come across your photo! Bhagavan Nityananada was an enlightened Siddha Guru. He passed the Siddha lineage to Swami Muktananda in 1956. Muktananda brought the Siddha teachings to the West and in 1982 passed it on to Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, my beloved Guru and current head of the Siddha lineage.
Thank you for sharing this sacred place!
