Ganeshpuri is a small village approximately 80 km from Mumbai. It was home to Swami Nityananda, and now has many ashrams, and also the final samadhi of the Guru. There are many hot water springs in the area.

Around Amsterdam

Around Amsterdam

We see the same surroundings day in and day out that we take them for granted. The route to the office may be more gorgeous than you notice. These are the shots taken while walking around the route, which I usually pass by without appreciating its beauty.

Around the windmill

WindmillThe windmill of Sloten is located in the outskirts of Amsterdam. This mill is open to the public and you can see the exhibition ‘Amsterdam and the water’ which illustrates Amsterdam’s relationship with the sea. In the Coopery museum, you can see how barrels are manufactured.

Near the windmill is restaurant Syriana which offers a Syrian Lebanese kitchen, and a wonderful ambiance. The Lounge is decorated in the style of ‘Thousand and one Nights’ and there are performances by a belly dancer. The best part for me was that there are many vegetarian options.

A traditional dutch windmill, a museum, restaurant with good food and entertainment, and the mesmerizing nature around, this place is definitely amazing.

Amsterdam RAI, one of the largest conference and exhibition centre, is located in Zuidas district of Amsterdam. Europaplein, the square facing Amsterdam Rai has got six enormous scupltures adding to its beauty.

The bright sculptures painted in Aluminium have been specifically created for the entrances of Europaplein by the artist, Guillaume Bijl. Guillaume Bijl is an internationally renowned Belgian installation artist. The sculptures create a wonderful contrast with the industrial buildings. These statues display characteristic features on popular culture.

An evening in Amstelveen

An evening in Amstelveen

E is for an Enchanting Evening

“WHAT is this life if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.”

-W.H. Davies

After, a whole day of slogging through the work pile staring at the computer screen, I finally get to stand and stare in the evening. When I look at the nature around me: the sunset, the lights, the peace, I feel relaxed. There’s nothing like a dose of nature to calm your nerves.

What helps you relax after a long, tiring day?

Our World

Our world

This time instead of the wonderful city, I want to show you my immediate surroundings, the view from my balcony, the crossroads I pass travelling to my office.

We are so enchanted by the distant scenic nature we miss the beauty around us. This is my attempt to capture the world around me.

The place is much more beautiful during the winter when a snow blanket covers it. Since the winter is long gone, those snaps must be buried somewhere.

I love the way, the sunlight shines through the trees. It brightens my day.
